I am bursting with inspiration after coming upstairs from a day's work at the sink.
I wish I could be all English and Victorian (which is my idea of a glamorous kitchen maid with full skirts, lacy petticoats and ample cleavage) but I'm afraid it's just rj pe and fbts.
When it comes to responsibilty, the first instinct is always to run on sight/smell/sound(touch?). I cite a very real, very right-now (mcsteamy and his stolen right-now plan) analogy about washing the dishes. It's a chore, it smells and it convinces you that your hands are of better economic value. Where the train of thought has derailed is the part about having better things to do. That would almost trump the responsibility card if only it were valid. Everything is just a matter of getting used to, even mindless chores included. I did it today because I did it the day before and it was easy to continue doing it. It is better to get used to taking the plunge than to get used to someone doing it for you. Since it's the lesser of the two evils, you'd be mentally and emotionally healthier at the end of it.
And most importantly, I like the idea of clean dishes. Seriously.
And I think dan is a complete moron for not wanting to continue ft at kr. It's an obvious disregard of reponsibility! A breech of the trust and respect his students have placed in him, a shining beacon of hope and light guiding them through the dark, treacherous wilderness.. (I'm very sorry to have raised your doubts about the credibility of this person who pens such an inconceivable statement but that was vital to complete the convincing act so that we can have the car, the driver is really only secondary) Transport is our utmost concern. (& the mileage is hardly taxable either)
First day all over again and it's nothing to be excited about when every moment that I'm not falling asleep I'm (cursing the day you were born! Sex&TheCity joke) fighting the urge to turn and run (back to the point about responsibilities) and to re-quit! All in the name of regaining my freedom. I like the 18th floor but would like the 24th so, so, so much more.
This is an official announcement that I have chosen NUS FASS. Now everyone can stop channeling that which-uni-are-you-going-to gleam in their eyes.
all that matters, is today(: -
