3rd day at krss, 1st angry lesson.
& i'm happy! (: (: (:
I'm happy because my being angry had an effectual outcome where the kids finally listened to me. I was teaching SBQ to 2N4 and how to do the structure of each paragraph i.e. the PEE rule.. which was amusing to some and the class volume got louder. But it culminated when the girls who wanted to listen told me it's too noisy to hear anything (when i talked, they talked. when i talked louder they talked even louder) and i screamed!
Even I was shocked at myself.
It was something along the lines of "if you boys at the back want to fail history go ahead I don't care but there are some who want to listen so shut up."
:D
I have effectual lungs and an effectual don't-mess-with-me angry face.
I'm an effectual girl.
Though later on i realised that i'm way more lenient than the other reliefs who confiscate ez-link cards and send pple out of class. I occasionally threaten to send them out. which mostly never happens. not so effectual after all. ): it's because i think they'd hold grudges and give you the attitude and i'm sure i'd have enough authority to overwrite them if comes down to real action taken but i'd opt for amicable relations thank you very much.
And later on I had a great time with 2N1 and 2N2 because I gave them relatively hard cloze passages and they came to ask me questions about how to do! Even though all the answers they did themselves were ridiculously wrong, but I explained to whichever group that was willing to listen i.e. sunny and the girls and finally came out of the classroom feeling extremely accomplished. (:
and there's this malay dude in 2N1 who's actually very good in english! I am impressed.
Actually i'm just glad today was a short day. HA.
tired. let me sleep.
all that matters, is today(: -
