YAY DEREK AND MEREDITH ARE GETTING MARRIED
happy endings are ecstacy
after entering a period of notably hectic times, my table has descended into a state of wreckage. think ribbons (yellow with green polka dots, blue & white stripes), empty ribena glass bottles (courtesy of yk), pools of saga seeds, luscious lips magnets, a ton of post-its with illegible scribbles and many relatively new clothes tags strewn all over. my clothes rack, i won't even bother to decipher.
i find it reflective of reality: out of control
recently
i have been whining about projects and about my inability to wrap my head around the centrality of the themes in the projects hence much less be productive in articulating it, which leads to more whining. what did i say about hectic
meanwhile
tony blair's talk had an interesting element to it despite the somewhat trite narrative he gave. he was able to fend off some highly intractable dispositions of the controversy, though i'm not sure if the instant blair yuppies who were more invested in a picture perfect momento were quite as intellectually stimulated. i must also comment on the unmistakable contrast of charm in tony and in ch, absolutely opposite ends of the spectrum i.e. 100% vs 0% (sitting right in the middle of the second row gives you an edge for passing judgement on their demeanour, not to mention psycho-analysing them).
interestingly
i find that having supper close to 1am is not worthwhile for money (definitely spoilt for choice there, especially when tangyuan has closed) but don't you think that supper is enjoyed best when your worries are asleep? just like how hanging out in the recesses of a petrol kiosk, making plans, is so old school it helps you forget the now.
anyway
where did i find so much time to write this?!!?
all that matters, is today(: -
